Bruce said he confessed his secret to all of his ex wives at some point in their marriages, adding that Kris always brushed off his cross-dressing. The Jenner insider confirmed to the magazine that Kris did know about Bruce’s “issue,” but assured the ex-wives "that she thought it was just a phase and that she could 'fix' him."
The former Olympian revealed he took hormones for about five years in the 1980s, and that it was also around that time that he started altering his appearance. He had 36B breasts when he met his ex-wife, but confessed he "downplayed” to Kris about how far along he was in his transition.
Despite being aware of the hormones, the cross-dressing and the facial surgery he had, Kris "never knew Bruce wanted to be a woman. She thought Bruce had a little quirk and he asked her to keep it a secret, so she did," a Kardashian source said.
Kris and the rest of the family are getting used to the “new” normal, the source revealed, and the whole family is relieved the news is out. Kris tweeted after the special aired, "Not only was I able to call him my husband for 25 years and father of my children, I am now able to call him my hero."
