Hot Tub Makeout! First Look at Matt James as ‘The Bachelor’
Matt James, 28, is still shooting his highly anticipated season of “The Bachelor,” but ABC has just dropped a new teaser!
In the teaser, James reveals on the night that he meets the women that he’s never been in love.
The clip features Chris Harrison saying “the women are literally falling for you” after one of the suitors trips and falls into Matt’s arms as they meet.
One of the women describes Matt “a delicious man” as the scene cuts to him walking shirtless in a forest-like area.
It looks like Matt definitely has a love connection with some of the ladies this season, because the teaser then cuts to Matt making out with several women on his dates with them… in a hot tub and during a fireworks show. Watch!

The teaser also gives a glimpse of the drama and villains of the season, which premieres January 4. One of the women emphasizes to a producer, “Be wary of this girl,” as it cuts to several women tearing up through the course of the show.
"Extra's" Rachel Lindsay recently spoke with Chris Harrison about the upcoming season. Chris spilled, “There is drama, of course. There is this amazing man that people are fighting for and the claws come out. It is a great ‘Bachelor’ season.”
Lindsay also chatted with to ABC Entertainment executive Rob Mills, who dished on James, a real estate broker. He said, “This is a guy who has not had a lot of exposure. It's all new… He brings some different angles we haven't seen before… People are going to really like it… We have had stuff that has been an emotional as we have ever seen.”
When asked how the season will end for James, Rob teased, “Regardless of what happens, he is going to be true to himself.”
Will James’ close pal Tyler Cameron appear on the season? He recently told the “Chicks in the Office” podcast, “I saw him recently. No spoilers.”
“We are going to get a full dose of Matt,” Tyler, who appeared on Hannah Brown’s season of “The Bachelorette,” emphasized. “He’s gonna have fun, he’s gonna be very vulnerable, he’s gonna open himself up. We’re gonna learn — I’m gonna learn so much about Matt. This is gonna be good, it’ll be good for him.”
