David Hasselhoff’s Ex-Wife Pamela Bach Dies by Suicide at 62

Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, David Hasselhoff’s actress ex-wife, has died at 62, TMZ reports.
Authorities tell the site that Pamela died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. She reportedly did not leave a note.
TMZ law enforcement sources add that her family was concerned when they didn’t hear from her. Paramedics then found her in her home around 10 p.m. on Wednesday.
David told TMZ in a statement, “Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”
The couple was married from 1989 to 2006 and had two daughters, Hayley and Taylor Ann Hasselhoff.
In 2006, Pamela opened up to "Extra" about her contentious divorce with David.
She said at the time, “I loved him very hard,” adding, “I tried to manage something that was unmanageable.”
While she didn’t share the details of the split, Bach recalled, “I thought, ‘Why do I have to live my life like that?’ Because I loved him.”
When asked what she wanted people to know about her, Pamela said, “That she's standing up and taking care of herself.”
She was also coping through music, and at the time released her album “Transitions.”
Bach said, “You do find out what you're made of when you're pushed against a wall,” adding, “Getting this out has been therapeutic.”
She was also leaning on their daughters, sharing, “I always have purpose with my girls.”
Pamela was an actress who appeared in Francis Ford Coppola’s “Rumblefish” in 1983. Among other roles, she starred as café owner Kaye Morgan on “Baywatch” and also appeared on “Knight Rider.”
