Weeks after his passing, the official cause of death for 20-year-old Disney Channel star Cameron Boyce has been released.
The Los Angeles Medical Examiner's Office told TMZ that Boyce died of epilepsy.
The report also noted that Boyce didn't have any drugs or alcohol in his system, besides Keppra, which is used for epilepsy.
According to the report, Boyce developed non-traumatic epilepsy about three years ago and had suffered "several major seizures" in the last years of his life.
The cause of death had been deferred pending “further investigation.”
A few weeks ago, Boyce's family released a new statement about his death. They told People magazine, “Cameron's tragic passing was due to a seizure as a result of an ongoing medical condition, and that condition was epilepsy. We are still trying to navigate our way through this extremely heart wrenching time, and continue to ask for privacy so that the family, and all who knew and loved him can grieve his loss and make arrangements for his funeral — which in and of itself, is agonizing."
According to his death certificate, Boyce was cremated and his ashes were given to his father, Victor.
Forest Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary was listed as the funeral establishment. It is where many big names, including Nipsey Hussle, Michael Jackson and Debbie Reynolds, have been buried.
TMZ was the first to report that one of Cameron's roommates found him unresponsive at their North Hollywood home. When the paramedics arrived, they were unable to save him, pronouncing him dead on the scene.
