Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Gushes Over His Daughters: 'I Have a House Full of Bad-Ass Women'
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson went big for the L.A. premiere of his newest movie, "Hobbs & Shaw," pulling up in a tricked-out truck from the movie!
Dwayne told "Extra's" Terri Seymour, "That's my jam... That entrance in that Peterbilt truck is a truck we used in 'Hobbs & Shaw.'" He added, smiling, "Just between us, I save the world in that truck."
Johnson joined forces with Jason Statham for the "Fast & Furious" spin-off. "From 'Fast 8'... Jason and I — and the filmmakers, the studio, and the fans — started to see this, interesting chemistry happen... This relationship that I have with Jason is a lot of fun." The star joked, "With a guy like that... His ego is so big, like his head, you just got to placate the star."
Idris Elba plays the villain in the spin-off. "We have a triple throwdown, smack down, every-way-down you want to say, between myself, Idris and Jason that goes down at the end of the movie. It is just bananas."
So, does he think Idris would make a good Bond? "I love that idea. We had joked and talked about that on set. I think he would make a great Bond."
Johnson is also enjoying being a dad to Simone, 17, Jasmine, 3, and Tiana, 1.
Johnson said of Jasmine, "She's so beautiful, and her and Tia — and of course my oldest Simone — it's just the best thing... I have a house full of just strong, bad-ass women... It's terrifying, but it's awesome."
"I grew up an only child," he went on to say. "My dad was tough. He kicked my ass, so there was a lot of testosterone growing up, so there is this balance, having all this estrogenic energy, then also me having the opportunity to infuse 'father' and hopefully setting a standard of what a man should be in their lives."
