Bomb Cyclone Hits NYC! Are These Stars at Risk of Missing the Golden Globes?
We are only two days away from the Golden Globes, but a bomb cyclone aka Winter Storm Grayson could wreck some of the stars' plans to attend!
The East Coast winter storm has caused thousands of flights to be canceled at JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark.
Golden Globe-nominated actor Armie Hammer attempted to fly out of NYC Thursday, but was forced to drive back into the city after his flight was canceled. He documented his ordeal in Instagram Stories in the morning.
His “Call Me By Your Name” co-star Timothée Chalamet, who is nominated for Best Performance By an Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama, was absent from the W magazine party in Los Angeles on Thursday that was held in his honor.
Armie and Timothée, who were in town for the New York Film Critics Awards, were able to get to Los Angeles and attend the AFI Awards on Friday.
Ansel Elgort, a Best Performance By an Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy nominee, had some fun with the situation. He posted a video of himself driving a car in the storm, tweeting, “Nyc snowstorm no worries baby will give u a ride 😎.”
