Did Tina and Amy Go Too Far with Bill Cosby Sex Scandal Jokes?
Nothing was off limits for Golden Globe hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler… even the Bill Cosby sex scandal.
The comedians slammed Cosby with jokes and impressions.
During the monologue, Amy quipped, “In 'Into the Woods,' Cinderella runs from her prince, Rapunzel is thrown from a tower for her prince, and Sleeping Beauty just thought she was getting coffee with Bill Cosby.”
Later, Tina told the crowd, “I don't know if you saw this on the news today, but Bill Cosby has finally spoken out about the allegations against him. Cosby admitted to a reporter [in her best Cosby impression] 'I put the pills in the people! The people didn't want the pills in them!'”
Then Amy said, “That's not right. It's more like [in her Cosby impression]: 'I got the pills in the bathroom and I put them in the people!'”
More than 20 women have accused Cosby of sexual misconduct. His lawyer, Marty Singer, has repeatedly denied the allegations. Cosby has never been charged with a crime.
