'This Is Us' Has Mandy Moore Thinking About Having Kids of Her Own
It will be another four months before “This Is Us” fans can get their next fix, but that didn't stop “Extra's” Renee Bargh from grilling Mandy Moore about Pearson family secrets and spoilers on the set of her new movie, “The Darkest Minds.”
Milo Ventimiglia, who plays Jack Pearson in the NBC hit, shared a photo of Mandy, who plays his wife Rebecca, looking absolutely shocked when she first learned what was in store for the new season.
Moore told Renee, “If you ever want to know anything about anything, you ask Milo… he's like, 'Oh I have the scoop, I know how the season starts and I know sort of like the throughline of how they want to incorporate certain characters,' and when he told me they genuinely captured my face, which was utter shock.”
...when I told @TheMandyMoore a little I'd learned from dinner w/ @Dan_Fogelman & @kenolin1 about season 2...can't fake that surprise. MV pic.twitter.com/Me88hec0qD

Mandy couldn't give away the plot, but she did say, “I think... people will be satisfied. They will get some of the answers that they're looking for.”
When Renee hinted that their characters Jack and Rebecca might be separated in the upcoming episodes, Mandy said, “I'm not ready for it either, and I don't like doing that with Milo... it's just so much easier to be friendly with him, pretend to be his wife and not be angry at him… he's just the best.”
After playing a mom of three for a season, Mandy, who is dating Taylor Goldsmith, has been contemplating children of her own.
“Milo and I joke about this sometimes… it's like it depends on… the day of the week like whether or not the kids are acting up or whether they're sort of minding their P's and Q's… I think it's like a mixed bag... I'm equal parts excited and terrified at the prospect of having kids in the future sometime.”
“This Is Us” will be back on NBC in September.
