Comedian Amy Schumer is battling Lyme disease and asking fans for advice.
The star posted a photo on Instagram of herself as a little girl, and wrote, “Anyone get LYME this summer? I got it and I'm on doxycycline. I have maybe had it for years. Any advice? Can you have a glass of wine or 2 on it?”
She explained, “I know to stay out of the sun. I'm also taking these herbs from cape cod called lyme-2. Please comment or text me on my number in my bio. I also want to say that I feel good and am excited to get rid of it.”

The news comes after Amy's struggle with hyperemesis gravidarum, or severe morning sickness, while pregnant with son Gene, 1.
She was so sick she had to cancel some of her comedy shows, and Amy recently told “Sunday Today with Willie Geist,” how difficult it was. “Going onstage and doing a show like that, even though it's physical and everyone's looking at you, it's still my job,” she said. “If you're a teacher, or a nurse, or anything — if you are really sick and you're pregnant and you still have to work, no one gives you any leeway. They really don't.”
