Singer Katy Perry and actor Orlando Bloom's bundle of joy is here!

On Wednesday, the engaged couple took to Instagram to announce they have welcomed a baby girl, who they named Daisy Dove Bloom.

Instead of using their social media pages, Katy and Orlando, who are UNICEF ambassadors, broke the news on the UNICEF Instagram page.

Along with sharing a black-and-white photo of their hands intertwined with their daughter's, they wrote, "We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter."

Welcome to the world, Daisy Dove Bloom! We are honoured to introduce Goodwill Ambassadors @KatyPerry and @OrlandoBloom’s new bundle of joy.⠀ ⠀ “We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” Katy and Orlando told us.⠀ ⠀ “But we know we’re the lucky ones and not everyone can have a birthing experience as peaceful as ours was. Communities around the world are still experiencing a shortage of healthcare workers and every eleven seconds a pregnant woman or newborn dies, mostly from preventable causes. Since COVID-19 many more newborn lives are at risk because of the increased lack of access to water, soap, vaccines and medicines that prevent diseases. As parents to a newborn, this breaks our hearts, as we empathize with struggling parents now more than ever.⠀ ⠀ “As UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors, we know UNICEF is there, on the ground, doing whatever it takes to make sure every expecting mother has access to a trained health worker and access to quality healthcare. In celebration of the heart we know our daughter already has, we have set up a donation page to celebrate DDB’s arrival. By supporting them, you are supporting a safe start to life and reimagining a healthier world for every child. We hope your ♥️ can bloom with generosity.⠀ ⠀ Gratefully-⠀ ⠀ Katy & Orlando.”⠀ ⠀ Please tap the link in our bio to support the most precious gift: a healthy child.

Katy, 35, and Orlando, 43, ended the post by asking for donations for UNICEF, writing, "As UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors, we know UNICEF is there, on the ground, doing whatever it takes to make sure every expecting mother has access to a trained health worker and access to quality healthcare. In celebration of the heart we know our daughter already has, we have set up a donation page to celebrate DDB’s arrival. Orlando is also the father of son Flynn with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr.

Just a few days before welcoming the baby, Katy spoke with "Extra's" Jenn Lahmers about how her pregnancy had changed her view of what women's bodies are capable of, and how it had changed the way she looks at her own body. She said, "Women are just so many beautiful things and can handle so much and are adaptable, and the weight — I mean, speaking of weight — I look back at pictures and some of the music videos I got to do for this record before I was pregnant… At that time, I thought I was a little chunky and now I'm 45 pounds later, so…"

In March, Katy announced she was pregnant with her first child by debuting her baby bump at the end of her music video "Never Worn White."
