Oprah, Hugh Jackman, Cardi B and More Stars Celebrate the Class of 2020!

As the country remains in lockdown due to the coronavirus, the stars turned out in a big way for Facebook & Instagram #Graduation2020!

Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak co-hosted the event, in which every high school and college in all 50 states got a shout-out.

Miley Cyrus treated the students to a rendition of her inspirational song “The Climb,” while Oprah gave a moving commencement address. Scroll down for more from Hugh Jackman, Cardi B and others.

Oprah called the graduates the “chosen class,” explaining, “You are indeed, the chosen class, for such a time as this, the Class of 2020. You’re also a united class, the pandemic class, that has the entire world striving to graduate with you.”

She added, “But even though there may not be pomp because of our circumstances, never has a graduating class been called to step into the future with more purpose, vision, passion, and energy, and hope.”

Hugh Jackman followed up with some sage advice: Always listen to Oprah and be sure to wear sunscreen!

Cardi B insisted, “It’s more than a diploma, it’s more than graduation, it’s knowledge. It’s knowing that you did it. Now you’re about to start your life, you’re about to make some money, you’re about to show your skills on what you worked for!”

Matthew McConaughey congratulated the students, insisting that more experiential learning is to come. “All right, all right, all right,” he said, mimicking his “Dazed and Confused” character. “You’re going to continue to learn for the rest of your life. The big learning is coming in the future for you. I promise you. The experiential learning, where you get to put what you’ve learned in school to task. This is when it gets fun. This is when it gets hard.”
