Tony winner Ruthie Ann Miles, who lost her daughter and later miscarried another daughter after being struck by a car in Brooklyn two years ago, announced she is going to be a mom again.
The "All Rise" actress wrote on Instagram Saturday, "We'd like to announce our very happy news: We are expecting another child this spring!"
They went on to thank fans for their support "in the aftermath of the crash," who she described as having "lifted us up in prayer, doused us with Love, encouraged us, let us be & grieve these two years...."
Miles, 36, acknowledged her lost babies, writing, "We know Abigail Joy and Sophia would have loved being big sisters & are loving watching their family grow."
In March 2018, Miles and her daughter Abigail Joy, 5, as well as Lauren Lew and her 1-year-old Joshua, were struck by a car driven by a woman with a history of medical issues. Joshua and Abigail Joy died, and Miles, who was injured in the crash, suffered a miscarriage in her ninth month of pregnancy two months later.
The driver of the car later took her own life.
