Chris Rock & Megalyn Echikunwoke Split

Comedian Chris Rock, 55, and actress Megalyn Echikunwoke, 36, have reportedly called it quits after four years.

A source told Page Six that the pair ended their relationship a few months ago, before his appearance at the Oscars.

According to another insider, Rock wasn't ready to settle down and get married again after his divorce with ex Malaak Compton-Rock.

In 2016, he shared his take on marriage, telling Rolling Stone, “Would I ever get married again? Not if it would cure AIDS.”

Of his divorce, which was finalized the same year, Rock said, “Getting divorced, you have to f–king start over. You get to reset. It's not a breakdown, but something in your life broke down.”

The same year, Megalyn also shut down engagement rumors, telling People magazine, “Definitely not. Oh, no, am I going to get in trouble for this? This right here is my alleged engagement ring, which is obviously not an engagement ring, so just an FYI. It's a pearl. It's not even a diamond."

Megalyn also seemed to have the same views on marriage as Chris. She said, “I'm actually not a huge believer in marriage. If he made a really good case for it, I guess… I guess there's this misconception about once you're engaged how could you possibly want anything more than marriage and kids. It's kind of like lock down a rich guy. I'm here to say that there's more to life than that, and this common lame notion that that's all a girl could possibly want in life is completely bulls–t. So, I mean, I have a boyfriend who I love and that's all I need.”
