Emilia Clarke Reacts to ‘Game of Thrones’ Prequel Being Canceled
Actress Emilia Clarke looked amazing in Valentino at the premiere of her new film, “Last Christmas,” Tuesday evening.
Clarke told “Extra's” Cheslie Kryst, “I thought, 'Sparkles — why not?'"
Emilia weighed in on the news that HBO passed on the highly anticipated “Game of Thrones” prequel starring Naomi Watts. She commented, “It was kind of astonishing. The show very much ended and we heard about the prequel and we're like, 'Okay, cool,' but didn't have any understanding of what it might be or who was involved… If it wasn't meant to happen now, it wasn't as perfect as everybody wanted it to have been, so it was for the right reasons. Maybe it will get reincarnated.”
Meanwhile, another "GoT" prequel, “House of the Dragon,” was picked up by HBO.

As for her handsome “Last Christmas” co-star Henry Golding, Emilia gushed, “He's just the sweetest, kindest man ever, and he's not bad to look at... He's such a professional.”
With so many people dressing as Clarke's "GoT" character Daenerys, what are her own plans for Halloween? She shared, “I have never had Halloween in America before… I look forward to people dressing up as Khaleesi in whatever version they prefer.”
“Last Christmas” hits theaters November 8.
