Rumors have been swirling about “The Bachelor” alum Nick Viall and actress Rachel Bilson, both 38.
In July, Bilson met Viall on his “Viall Files” podcast, where he revealed that he had slid into her DMs to ask her to appear on it.
When Nick posted a pic with Rachel, he referenced “The Bachelor,” joking, “Will we choose to forgo our individual rooms…” She quipped, “He slid into her…dms #sheaccepted.”
During her appearance, Bilson opened up about dating, telling Viall, “I was talking to this guy a few months back [and] anytime I would bring my daughter up, they would never pursue the question or ask more about her. It was a red flag because anyone that you’re going to get involved with, if you have a kid, they have to be all about the kid.”
After their first meeting, Nick and Rachel would comment on each other’s Instagram photos, sparking dating rumors.
In August, Rachel posted a pic with her “Hart of Dixie” co-stars Scott Porter and Wilson Bethel. Nick replied to her post, “Cute dress.”
Later that month, Rachel complimented Nick’s “sweet cuffs” in a pic.
On Tuesday, Nick addressed the romance rumors in NYC, telling People magazine, “I’m not really defining any relationships these days. But I do think she has a great Instagram and it is very easy to comment on her content.”
He told Us Weekly, "I always had a crush on Rachel. I told her that on my podcast. She was really cool. She’s a lot of fun, has a great sense of humor and she knows how to give me a hard time, and I really appreciate that. Yeah, she’s become a fun and cool friend.”
When asked directly if they are dating, he answered, "I mean she’s a dream, I’ll say that.”
Last year, Nick was linked to January Jones after she confessed her love for “The Bachelor," even revealing that she was attracted to him. During a chat with James Corden, January revealed that she had mixed feelings about Nick, joking, “You don’t know if you like him or if he’s a scumbag, but that’s why I’m attracted to him, maybe.”
After the rumors swirled, Nick told reporters at a Hollywood party, “I’m single now, so I’m not dating January Jones. We’re friends.”
