“Good Morning America” anchor Sara Haines, 41, is a mom again!
On Wednesday, Haines gave birth to a baby boy, her third child with husband Max Shifrin.
Haines’ bundle of joy, who weighed 8 lbs., 15 oz., was named Caleb Joseph after her grandfather and brother.
Caleb joins big sis Sandra Grace, 18 months, and brother Alec Richard, 3. Haines told People magazine, “Max and I are riding the life high of meeting this new little guy and the heart we just grew as he joins Alec and Sandra.”
In April, Sara celebrated Caleb’s arrival with a joint baby shower with Abby Huntsman. During the party, hosted by “The View,” Sara dished on her pregnancy cravings, telling Parade, “I try not to be a regular milkshake drinker, but I keep doing it — I’m getting the calcium! I eat worse during pregnancy, but I figure whatever it takes to get through. There are so many emotions right now so I’m like, 'Just lean into it, Sara.’”
As for how she felt about being outnumbered, she commented, “I didn’t realize how foggy everything was when I had Alec. You don’t know you’re in post-partum until you have it. What I find comfort in is that it’s going to be amazing. I’m more excited for the confidence in number three. The outnumbered part will be daunting, but I want to enjoy it in a way that I missed with Alec.”
The month before, Sara revealed that she was expecting a boy during a live-TV gender reveal. After a cake didn’t reveal the results she was expecting, she received an envelope that had a blue card in it.
Sara announced she was pregnant in January. At the time, she told People, “We just figured out our one-on-one defense and now we have to move to a zone. Max and I are super excited while also being terrified! We are so grateful.”
