Over the weekend, "Vanderpump Rules" couple Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix hit up the MTV Movie & TV Awards, where they weighed in on Lisa Vanderpump's exit from "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
Tom said he could relate to Lisa’s decision to leave, telling “Extra’s” Renee Bargh, "Filming something where she is that much in the mix, I’m sure it can be hard.”
Along with losing her brother Mark, Lisa had a hard time filming the show and getting along with her fellow castmates in the ninth season. Ariana pointed out, “Last year was really tough on her.”
Despite her departure from “RHOBH,” Lisa recently told "Extra” that she is not shopping for a new network for “Vanderpump Rules,” which will stay on Bravo.
Ariana noted they have been in touch with Lisa since the news broke, saying, “Obviously, she is involved with us, I feel like the more involved the better.”
What is Lisa going to do with some of her free time? Tom shared, “She’s gonna spend more time with the kids.”
Lisa is the mother of son Max, 27, and daughter Pandora, 33.
He emphasized about his boss, “We support any of Lisa’s decisions, especially along that nature. She has been doing it way longer than us, and if she is in a situation she needs to get out of, I respect that.”
Vanderpump, who starred in films and on TV as a child, was on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” for nine years. She also owns 36 restaurants, bars, and clubs in London and Los Angeles, including Pump, SUR, and Villa Blanca.
