Bachelor Nation’s Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph made their relationship Coachella official as they attended the music festival this weekend. “Extra” was with Colton, who dished on their relationship... now that the cameras have stopped rolling.
The couple has decided not to live together. “I have a house north of Hollywood, and she is in West Hollywood. We are trying to do everything as normal as possible. I don’t think you realize how many important steps you miss in ‘The Bachelor’ process which is nothing against them, we want to make sure we do this the right way. Statistically speaking, for Bachelors, it's not very good odds, so I think us going against what other Bachelor and Bachelorette couples have done is probably going to work out in our favor.”
He added, “We both feel like… living our separate lives, but still coming together at the end of the day is what's most important for us, and what's the right step for where we're at in our relationship.”
Underwood broke down the current family dynamic after not exactly getting their seal of approval during the hometown visit. “We are still all adjusting to it. What comes after the show, no one really prepared you for it, both of our families are trying to adjust to it.”
So how do Cassie and Colton feel about starting their own family? He said, “I have obviously wanted to be a dad growing up so I'm looking forward to that day.”
For now, they are just taking things slow. “You have conversations that's sort of what's next… but right now we're enjoying dating.”
Their big date weekend at Coachella included shows by Diplo and Childish Gambino. The former NFL player said his secret to staying hydrated at the music fest was H Factor, a hydrogen-infused water. He also joked he doesn’t get “too crazy” with his Coachella fashion, sticking with graphic t-shirts, swim shorts and khakis.
