On Wednesday night, 95-year-old comic-book icon Stan Lee was rushed to the hospital after experiencing shortness of breath and an irregular heartbeat.
TMZ reports Lee was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles and is in stable condition. His rep told the site that he's “doing well and feeling good.”
Lee told KABC on Thursday, “All I really want to do is tell you that I'm feeling great. I'm glad I spent that evening in the hospital… I figured that a little check up wouldn't be bad for me. And in fact it turned out to be pretty good, it got me a lot of publicity.” Watch!
Earlier this week, Lee looked healthy at the premiere of “Black Panther.”
Last year, the chairman emeritus of Marvel Comics was forced to cancel two convention appearances due to an unspecified illness. His wife and muse Joan Lee died at 95 in July.
