Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are the proud parents of a little girl.
The star couple, already parents to daughter North, 4, and son Saint, 2, welcomed their third child via surrogate, who gave birth on Monday.
Their baby girl weighed 7 lbs. 6 oz.
Kim confirmed the baby's birth on her website, saying, "Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl. We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister."
According to TMZ, Kim and Kanye were both in the hospital delivery room at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where the surrogate gave birth. Dr. Paul Crane was the one who delivered the baby, who had her first skin-to-skin contact with Kim.
After the baby was born, Kanye reportedly came out from behind a curtain in the delivery room and held the baby.
Kris Jenner and Kim's sisters were also at the hospital for the baby's arrival.
Days before their daughter's arrival, Kim and Kanye were seen enjoying a night out at Craig's restaurant in West Hollywood.
“Extra's” Mark Wright caught up with Kim in November, when she revealed she was “excited and scared” about expanding her brood.
She said, “I have half the people freaking me out saying how hard three is.”
Kardashian went on to say, “I think you're not thinking about it as much, especially when you're in my situation because I'm not carrying the baby, so I think it's just gonna hit me and I think I'm gonna freak the f**k out and be like, 'Aaahhh, three kids,' you know?”
