Tyler Perry’s Big Secret to Losing Weight — What Did He Quit?
“Extra's” AJ Calloway sat down with Tyler Perry, who opened up on his weight loss secret!
Perry quit eating meat for the past “couple of months.” He added, “I feel great… I feel a lot lighter and I've lost 25 pounds.”
Perry isn't the only one feeling “really, really good" — his son Aman is doing “fantastic.”
Tyler has been promoting his book “Higher Is Waiting,” which is “for anyone that's going through anything in life.” He shared, “This is just things I've learned in my own life and advice I've taken heed of that's allowed me to go to higher.”
The 48-year-old was inspired to find his higher purpose by his mom. He explained, “If my mother had not talked to me about faith, about God, I don't know where I'd be. I do know if you don't give your kids something, then they're going to turn to something. I'm glad she gave me faith in the hard times.”
