John Legend and Chrissy Teigen appear to have the perfect relationship, but he once put the brakes on their romance for a brief moment.
In an interview with The Guardian, Legend revealed, "I was really stressed and busy. I was just like, 'I'd just be happier single right now,' and she was like, 'No.’"
After 30 minutes, Chrissy and John were back together. He said about his wife of four years, "She pushes me to be funnier, not because she’s trying to, I think it’s just being around her. And to be bolder.”
Chrissy took to Twitter to share her side of the story, tweeting, "It wasn't a a typical breakup. He was on tour and his voice hurt and he was being a whiny face about everything and so yeah, I was like 'no.’”
In the December issue of Cosmopolitan, Chrissy reflected on their short split, saying, "I always joke, 'Remember when you tried to break up with me?’ He's like, 'Yes, sorry. Big mistake.'"
John and Chrissy have been together for 11 years.
