A week after her shocking split with Chris Pratt, Anna Faris is breaking her silence.
On her “Unqualified" podcast, Faris said, in a pre-recorded episode, “Hey, dear listeners, I just want to thank you all so much for all the love I've been receiving, and I truly love you.”
Before the breakup was made public, Anna often opened up about her relationship with Chris, who she married in 2009, on her podcast. Three months ago, the 40-year-old shared, "My long-distance relationship with Chris... I wouldn't describe it as that, but we do spend a lot of time apart. But the advantage of that is it makes you so appreciate the time you have together, and you really, really value that. And you don't want to waste it fighting, and you know, like, all the minutiae. It's a high price to pay, you know, but it is a benefit. A silver lining.”
A source recently told People magazine, "Anna is a very sweet girl, and it did often seem that the distance between her and Chris — his busy schedule and hers — was hard on her. He was gone on various projects and that's never easy. She always seemed so happy when he was back from filming. I assume it was hard for both of them, with a young child and busy careers, to balance all of that.”
In December, Anna addressed rumors that they were facing marital problems and admitted she was “feeling so hurt.” She explained, "I take pride in how great my relationship is with Chris, but having said that, of course in this crazy world where he's off doing movies and I'm in L.A. raising our child, of course I'm going to feel vulnerable, like any normal human would.”
