What May Have Led to Chris Pratt & Anna Faris’ Surprising Split
Many are still shocked about Chris Pratt and Anna Faris' sudden separation, but what happened?
Chris and Anna were married for eight years and are “really disappointed” that they couldn't make it work. A source told People magazine, "Anna is a very sweet girl, and it did often seem that the distance between her and Chris — his busy schedule and hers — was hard on her.”
The source added, "He was gone on various projects and that's never easy. She always seemed so happy when he was back from filming. I assume it was hard for both of them, with a young child and busy careers, to balance all of that.”
In December, Anna opened up about “feeling so hurt” by the rumors that they were facing marital problems. She said on her podcast, "I take pride in how great my relationship is with Chris, but having said that, of course in this crazy world where he's off doing movies and I'm in L.A. raising our child, of course I'm going to feel vulnerable, like any normal human would.”
TMZ reports that Chris and Anna didn't see eye-to-eye on their views on family. A source told the site that Anna wanted a home base in Los Angeles and desired more children, while Chris' shooting schedules made it difficult for them to be together all the time. He also wasn't ready to have more kids.
Sources also told the site that the two are already moving toward a divorce. What's at stake? He's now worth a reported $30 million, while she's worth $20 million. They bought a Los Angeles home together in 2013, which was worth around $3 million. Chris and Anna will also have to work out a custody agreement over their son, Jack.
