“The Bachelorette” contestant DeMario Jackson sat down for his first interview since news broke of his sex scandal on “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Last week, Warner Bros. completed its investigation after allegations of misconduct on “Bachelor in Paradise,” concluding that there was no sexual assault between DeMario and Corinne Olympios.
In a sit-down with E! News, Jackson opened up about how the scandal affected him. He said, "It was stressful. For me, mostly for my mother. It’s hard to see your mom cry every single day. It was very difficult.”
He fought back tears, saying, "My dad, he kept me extremely strong and kept me grounded and humble, but having your mom cry every day for something that you know you didn't do…”
The show will resume shooting in Mexico, but TMZ reports that Jackson is “done with the show.”
Jackson’s three-part interview with E! News will air tonight and tomorrow.
