Chris Daughtry Reportedly Joins ‘American Idol’ Judging Panel

Former contestant Chris Daughtry has reportedly joined the “American Idol” reboot as a judge!
A source told Us Weekly, "They wanted a panel of all ex-contestants — Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Jennifer Hudson were all on their wish list.”
Last week, Kelly was rumored to be joining the show, but she surprised everyone by taking a coaching gig on the 14th season of “The Voice.” Jennifer also signed on with “The Voice."
Katy Perry is reportedly in talks to join “American Idol.” She was a guest judge on the show in Season 9, when she sat in for Paula Abdul.
“Extra” caught up with Ryan Seacrest on Thursday while he was heading to work on “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” asking if the rumors he may return to “Idol” as its host were true. Ryan said, "I would love to do it, but I got this job right now.”
