'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Star Johnny Karagiorgis Dead

“Real Housewives of New Jersey” guest star Johnny Karagiorgis has died, according to Us Weekly.

Karagiorgis, who was known as “The Greek,” passed away after suffering a heart attack on Saturday. His wife Penny Drossos wrote on Facebook, "My heart is broken my world is shattered. John Karagiorgis had a massive heart attack yesterday evening and has left us. Thank you all for your texts messages and support but please understand I'm still in shock n denial that this has happen. Please understand I need sometime to grieve with my kids at this time."

The day after his death, she continued to pay tribute to him, posting a throwback photo from their wedding day and pics of him with their kids.

The couple’s marriage troubles were part of the plot in the hit Bravo show’s fifth season. He was a co-owner of the popular hot dog joint Rutt’s Hut in Clifton, and owned Medusa’s Hair Loft.
