Dakota Johnson took Hollywood by storm last year when she starred in the hit movie “Fifty Shades of Grey” and now, she's back with her new comedy “How to Be Single.”
Johnson and her character have one thing in common — they are both single. She revealed about her love life in Marie Claire's March issue, "I don't have a boyfriend — why? You got one for me? Right now, I find myself having the capacity to love my family and friends, and that's it."
Johnson has grown up in a Hollywood family — her parents are Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson. Despite living the Hollywood lifestyle from a young age, Johnson craves normalcy. She said, "The idea of being at home and picking up kids from school and cooking dinner and then the husband comes home — there's something that seems really nice to me 'cause I never had that growing up. And it seems so enticing. But in my mind, I'm like, 'Well, I'll just play that in a movie and go about my own life, bizarre as it is.'"
Since she had Hollywood stars as parents, she is well prepared for the media frenzy that has come her way after “Fifty Shades of Grey." She shared about the paparazzi, "I don't feel tough enough to be accosted by people. When I'm feeling particularly fragile, I just won't leave my house.”
