Over the weekend, Gwyneth Paltrow's newly opened pop-up shop, goop mrkt, was robbed, just a few days after its grand opening.
Three men were able to force open a cabinet and walk away from the store with approximately $173,000 in merchandise, according to Daily Mail.
Police initially though the thieves stole $17,000 worth of goods, but the number dramatically changed.
A Goop spokesperson revealed about the theft, "There was an isolated incident Saturday afternoon involving a very limited number of items, which was reported to the NYPD. While the store was crowded during one of our busiest days, thankfully the NYPD responded quickly, our customers and staff are safe, and we remain open for business with proper security precautions in place."
The NYPD is in the "opening stages" of the investigation and has not yet made an arrest in the case.
The goop markt, which features items like $8,900 dresses and $275 leather bracelets, will remain open until Christmas Eve.
