Steve has reflected on the tragic day in previous interviews, such as one with Marc Maron in 2009, in which he said, "I still have dreams of like, you know, those falling dreams."
The apology comes right before the comedian's stand-up special "Breaking Dad" airs Saturday on Comedy Central. The network said about his apology, "We just learned about this last night. We are very disappointed to hear about Steve's misrepresentations and are currently determining how we will move forward."
