Howard Stern’s Wife Beth Reveals the Real Reason Behind His ‘AGT’ Exit
Howard Stern will have more time for his family after he wraps this season of “America's Got Talent.” Stern revealed to his SiriusXM satellite radio listeners on Wednesday that he will not be returning next season to the hit NBC competition show.
The radio and television personality said, "I told them, this is my last season.”
He continued, “I am going through my own career evaluation right now… I'm just too f***ing busy."
Stern's wife, Beth Ostrosky Stern told “Extra” today that his additional time will be spent with her. Beth revealed, “Howard told me he wanted more free time to be with me.”
Howard also teased on his radio show that he may have another TV gig lined up, “I have a new great opportunity.” While it is unclear what that opportunity may be rumors are already swirling that another famous judge, Simon Cowell may take his chair on “AGT.”
Meanwhile his current “America's Got Talent” co-stars don't believe that he is really going to leave, host Nick Cannon talked with “Extra” at NBC's Summer Press Day yesterday, he said, “[Howard Stern] says that all the time… Next your gonna tell me Santa Claus isn't real.” Mel B added that she was going to strap him to the desk.
