The newly single A-lister was spotted lounging on the beach with recently uncoupled Chris Martin.
The twosome was spied soaking up some sun on a weekend get together in Malibu.
Kate was married to Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson for seven years, then engaged to Muse frontman Matt Bellamy. Right now she's single.
Chris, who recently split with Gwyneth Paltrow, is supposedly dating Jennifer Lawrence.
When paparazzi asked about his outing with Kate, Chris dodged the question.
As far as we know, Kate and Chris are just friends.
