No Prenup! Will Giada De Laurentiis' Ex Get Her Dough?
Is Food Network star Giada De Laurentiis's divorce about to boil over into an all-out battle over money?
The chef announced her split from husband Todd Thompson only weeks ago. Now Radaronline.com is reporting he could be getting his hands on a lot of her dough because the couple never signed a prenup.
Giada is worth an estimated $20 million, while Todd, a fashion designer, is worth $15 million. Without a prenup, he may be entitled to a chunk of the fortune she earned from her popular TV shows, books, and kitchenware.
During happier times, De Laurentiis told "Extra" that Todd loved it when she shot an Italian segment, because he got to eat all the leftovers.
The couple met when she was just 19, and wed in 2003. They announced their split in December.
