Juan Pablo Reveals He Almost Did ‘Dancing with the Stars’

The new cast of “Dancing with the Stars” will be announced on Thursday, but there will be one name not on the list: “Bachelor” star Juan Pablo Galavis.

He told “Extra’s” Renee Bargh on Wednesday that he was planning to hit the “DWTS” dance floor, but it didn't work out. “I never say this before, but yeah, I was going to do it.”

Instead, Galavis is returning to TV in the VH1 show “Couples Therapy,” along with his “Bachelor” girlfriend, Nikki Ferrell. 

Juan Pablo said the decision to join the show was not easy. “If we were dating already, why not take the chance and get some therapy and see an expert?” He added that he and Ferrell were happy that they did or they “probably would have killed each other two weeks later." 

Some of the issues they worked on in “Couples Therapy” included communication, how Galavis should talk to his 5-year-old daughter about Nikki, and the difficulties of living apart (Juan lives in Miami; Nikki lives in Kansas City).

He explained, “It’s part of the process… part of the things I thought we were okay but they were not okay with her.” Will Juan finally tell Nikki he loves her? The Venezuelan hunk smiled and said we'll have to watch the show to find out.
