George and Amal Are Getting Married… and They Have the License to Prove It!
Actor George Clooney and fiancée Amal Alamuddin are preparing for their fall nuptials by obtaining a marriage license.
People.com confirms the couple obtained their license in London.
The notice of their marriage, which listed the ceremony location as Italy, was posted outside Chelsea Old Town Hall, which is a legal requirement for UK citizens. It was taken down after being displayed for the requisite 21 days.
People.com reports Alamuddin appeared for a brief interview at the town hall, but Clooney was not required to be there because he's not a British citizen.
Although the exact location of the wedding has yet to be revealed, it's most likely the two plan to exchange vows at Clooney's Italian villa in Lake Como.
