A Duggar Gets Engaged! Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard Makes It Official
The “19 Kids & Counting” Duggar brood is adding a son-in-law to the mix.
Jill Duggar, 22, told People.com that she and beau Derick Dillard are engaged… watch the announcement!
Said Jill, "I am so happy. Our story is so very unique. The first time we talked, he was in Japan, we met in Nepal, he spent time in India and Israel and then came back to Arkansas where he met my family. We have a very international story even though we live so close."
Jill, who is studying to be a midwife, and Dillard, 25, an accountant, agreed that they would now hold hands. Derek said, "I feel like I'm dreaming. It was great to grab her hand for the first time." They will share their first kiss on their wedding day.
Jill's younger sister Jessa, 21, is also in a courtship with Ben Seewald, 18.
