Kim Novak's Appearance Shocks Oscars Audience
What happened to Kim Novak and her face? The 81-year-old actress, who shot to fame in the 1950s, appears to have undergone some major plastic work.
Novak was nearly unrecognizable as she joined Matthew McConaughey to present Best Animated Short Film and Best Animated Feature Film, causing even Donald Trump to tweet, “Kim should sue her plastic surgeon!”
Despite her storied career, including Alfred Hitchcock's “Vertigo” (1958) and roles alongside greats like Elizabeth Taylor, her looks were the focus on social media.

Pixar animator Chris Chua wrote, “Kim Novak's face just won for 'Frozen.'”
Others rushed to her defense:
Rose McGowan fumed, “Kim Novak! No standing ovation?! Self-obsessed and disrespectful, that sums up the Oscar audience.”
Fan Suzanne Carrico also defended the star, writing, “Kim Novak deserves our respect & did just fine. Her co presenter was the gentleman she deserves.”
