Weekend Box Office: 'Riddick' Tops 'The Butler'

"Riddick," starring Vin Diesel took the top spot at the box office this weekend, coming in at $18.6M.
Lee Daniels' drama "The Buttler," starring Forest Whitakter and Oprah Winfrey," came in at No. 2 with $8.9M. Rounding out the top three was Eugenio Derbez's dramedy, "Instructions Not Included," earning $8.1M.
The raunchy comedy "We're the Millers," can in fourth with $7.9M and "Planes" rounded out the top five with $4.3M.
The number one film last week, One Direction's Documentary "This Is Us," fell to No. 6 in the standings, earning $4.1M.
