Gwyneth Paltrow on ‘Iron Man 3,' Kids, and How Jay-Z Inspires Her

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow sat down with “Extra’s” Mario Lopez to talk about her comic-book action flick “Iron Man 3,” life at home, and how Jay-Z inspires her.
Paltrow explained why she finds the rap mogul to be inspirational. “He is a person who, with every year, gets more integrated and more wise, and more whole as a person. He has really mastered the art of being his own being. He’s an incredible person.”
The mom of two also opened up about suffering a miscarriage. “People have this perception that I have this really lucky life, which is very true, but I've had a lot more suffering in my personal life than anyone would ever have any idea about, which I embrace as part of my path. That was just one of the difficult things I had gone through.”
Gwyneth dispelled rumors that she doesn’t allow kids Apple, 8, and Moses, 7, to eat carbs. “No, that's a total lie! Kids live on carbs. I think someone misconstrued the fact that my son is allergic to gluten.”
She also fired back against critics who slammed her for promoting bikinis for girls on her website, Goop.com. Paltrow exclaimed, “All kids wear bathing suits, and if you find it sexual, you have a problem!”
As for “Iron Man 3,” the star thinks this is the best one yet. “I enjoyed watching this one the most. I thought it was really fun.”
“Iron Man 3” blasts off May 3.
