'Deadliest Catch' Star Missing from Season 9 Preview
Elliott Neese is missing from the “Deadliest Catch” Season 9 preview, but it seems the captain of the Ramblin' Rose isn't gone for good.
A narrator explains to the audience, "Last season, Elliott faced huge setbacks both at sea and at home. Now, his career may have come to an end."
Neese ran into trouble last season when State Wildlife cited him for harvesting undersized St. Matthew blue crab. His personal life was in disarray as problems mounted between the fisherman and the mother of his two kids, ex Valerie Gunderson.
On March 25, Elliott's future on the show still remained unclear as he tweeted at co-star Captain Wichrowski, “I'm not in s**t lol they have only good footage this year and there prob havin a hard time figurin out how to make it bad lol.”
By April 2, however it seemed he was back on board with the new season. When a fan on Twitter asked if she had missed the Season 9 debut, Elliott responded, “Nope April 16th is the premier !!! Don't miss it that's an order directly from da Captain !!!!”
Catch the new season, on Discovery starting at 9 PM on April 16.
