MyStudios 'X Factor' Auditions Have Been Extended

MyStudio recording booths, set-up in smaller cities across America, allow thousands of people a unique opportunity to audition for the show from more non-traditional regions, where they may not be able to attend the "cattle call" auditions.

Hopefuls will record their audition in a professional recording studio. Each person will have approximately two minutes to create an a cappella music recording, including 30 seconds at the beginning, to state why they think they have the "X Factor." Users will be notified via email to let them know whether they've been eliminated or made it to the next round of auditions.

Additionally, all MyStudio video finalists, as selected by "The X Factor" producers, will now have the opportunity to audition live for judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, Cheryl Cole and Antonio "L.A." Reid, as well as in front of a live studio audience.
