'The Mechanic' (Jan. 28)

Who: Jason Statham, Ben Foster, Donald Sutherland; directed by Simon West What: This action flick follows an elite hit man (Statham) as he teaches his trade to an apprentice (Foster) who has a connection to one of his previous victims.

'The Rite' (Jan. 28)

Who: Anthony Hopkins, Colin O'Donoghue, Alice Braga, Ciaran Hinds; directed by Mikael Hafstrom What: An American priest travels to Italy to study at an exorcism school.

'No Strings Attached' (Jan. 21)

Who: Natalie Portman, Ashton Kutcher, Cary Elwes, Lake Bell; directed by Ivan Reitman What: Two good friends try to keep their relationship strictly physical, but it's not long before they learn that they want something more.

'The Way Back' (Jan. 21)

Who: Jim Sturgess, Ed Harris, Colin Farrell; directed by Peter Weir What: A fact-based story centered on soldiers who escaped from a Siberian gulag in 1940.

'The Green Hornet' (Jan. 14)

Who: Seth Rogen, Jay Chou, Cameron Diaz and Christoph Waltz; directed by Michel Gondry What: By night, spoiled rich boy-turned-newspaper publisher Britt Reid (Rogen) fights crime as a masked superhero known as The Green Hornet. At his side is martial arts expert Kato (Chou).

'The Dilemma' (Jan. 14)

Who: Vince Vaughn, Kevin James, Jennifer Connelly, Winona Ryder, Tatum Channing; directed by Ron Howard. What: This comedy centers on a man (Vaughn) who discovers that his best friend's wife is having an affair. What to do?

'Barney's Version' (Jan. 14)

Who: Paul Giamatti, Dustin Hoffman, Minnie Driver, Rosamund Pike; directed by Richard J. Lewis What: This is the touching story about the live of the politically incorrect, impulsive, irascible and fearlessly blunt Barney Panofsky (Giamatti).

'Season of the Witch' (Jan. 7)

Who: Nicolas Cage, Ron Perlman, Claire Foy; directed by Dominic Sena What: A 14th-century knight (Cage) transports a suspected witch to a monastery, where monks deduce her powers could be the source of the Black Plague.
