Wayne Brady Would Like a Deal to Replace Regis
It looks like funnyman Wayne Brady is a frontrunner among candidates vying to replace Regis Philbin.
We went to ask the celebrated host about it, but 79-year-old Philbin claimed he is not a reliable source for inside information, telling "Extra," "I don't know who it's gonna be though, and I'm gonna be the last to know, I'm sure."
Brady, currently hosting "Let's Make a Deal" on CBS, said he's a fan of the show and would jump at the chance to replace Regis. "Let's think about this for a second, 'Wayne and Kelly.' Do you like the ring of it? I like that," but added, "I love Regis and no one can replace Regis. No matter who that person is."
