Justin Bieber Shows His Love for PETA
Justin to the rescue! Teen heartthrob Justin Bieber posed for a PETA ad supporting pet adoptions from local animal shelters, joining the ranks of celebrity animal activists.
"It's really important that people adopt," says the singer. "It's really important that people adopt. I really encourage going out to an animal shelter or a place where you can get a dog that has been abandoned or doesn't have a home."
The 16-year-old is encouraging the public to adopt a homeless pet rather than buying one from a pet store, where most of the puppies are bred in puppy mills.
