Leonardo DiCaprio's Plane Makes Emergency Return
Actor Leonardo DiCaprio had a scare 30,000 feet in the air Sunday.
Leo was on a Delta flight headed for Moscow when one of the plane's engines failed, forcing the jetliner to make an emergency return to NYC's JFK airport, Us Magazine.com reports.
The actor's rep told Us that DiCaprio "wishes to commend the actions of the pilot and flight crew in bringing the plane to a safe landing."
The actor and environmental activist, was on his way to the Tiger Summit, a four-day meeting to discuss ways to prevent the extinction of tigers, headed by Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
DiCaprio played aviation mogul Howard Hughes in the biopic - in which Hughes survived a graphic crash in Los Angeles.
