Oscar winner George Clooney's lovely villa on Italy's Lake Como won't go ka-boom anytime soon, but there was a 500-pound explosive found underwater, 15 yards from the 30-bedroom mansion.
Bomb experts were immediately dispatched to the lake in the lush Lombardy region to avert any potential tragedy. The bomb, which was disabled, was believed to have been dropped by a WWII bomber.
Clooney and girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis weren't home, thankfully, but the actor did have a something to say about the incident.
"This is not the first bomb I've experienced."
