Sick Nicole Richie 'in Bed' to 'Recover'
Nicole Richie is still bouncing back from pneumonia.
The reality star, 28, was hospitalized and forced to miss several promotional appearances for her jewelry line, House of Harlow (named after her daughter).
Richie wrote on her website Tuesday, "Right now it's important for me to stay in bed and recover. Reading all of your messages on Twitter and my website has really brightened my spirits and I am so grateful for the support. I look forward to seeing you all very soon and wish you a happy Thanksgiving."
She also thanked fans for "the kind words and well wishes over the past few weeks" before signing off "peace & love."
On Friday, her beau Joel Madden posted on his band Good Charlotte's website, "So I stepped off the plane after a month out of the country, and basically went straight to the hospital for the week."
Added Madden, "But don't worry all is well and we are home with no problems."
Richie posted on Twitter Sunday, "Ok cold, it's been 6 days. Let's part ways graciously & keep it moving."
