Miley Cyrus 'Deeply Saddened' by Driver's Death
One of Miley Cyrus' tour buses overturned Friday morning in Dinwiddie, Virginia, killing its driver.
The Disney star, 17, was part of a four-bus caravan -- but not on the vehicle that swerved off the road. Ten members of Cyrus' concert lighting team were on that bus.
"We are deeply saddened by the loss of Bill 'Uncle Bill' Douglas," Cyrus said in a statement on her Web site. "Members of our tour are like members of our family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family in the midst of this tragedy. He will truly be missed."
A section of Interstate-85 was closed so crews could clear the area.
Cyrus is still set to perform Sunday at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in Greensboro, NC, according to TMZ.
