Hudson's Sister Asks for Return of Son
Following the tragic shooting of the mother and brother of Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson, the actress' family is begging for the safe and timely return of Jennifer's nephew, Julian King, 7, who has been missing since the fatal incident.
"All I ask, I don't care who you are, just let my baby go. Please -- I just want my son," Julia Hudson tearfully states to the Chicago Sun-Times outside of Pleasant Gift Missionary Baptist Church. The boy's father, Greg King, added, "I just want my son. He needs to come home." King is pictured here in the clothing he was last seen in -- he has been missing since the fatal shootings occurred.
The "Dream Girl" also issued a plea to the public, saying, "I want you to keep your eyes and your ears open." The "American Idol" alum says that the tragedy has left her family "in a state of shock." She adds, "It hurts -- I don't know what else to do besides pray."
Jennifer posted the following message on her MySpace page: "Thank you all for your prayers and your calls. Please keep praying for our family and that we get Julian King back home safely. If anyone has any information about his whereabouts please contact the authorities immediately."
She continues, "Here is a picture of Julian and what he was last seen wearing. Once again thank you all for being there for us through this tough time."
William Balfour, the estranged husband of Julia and Julian's step-father, is currently considered a person of interest for the killings and is in police custody. No charges have currently been filed against him.
