"Extra" is shaking and stirring the perfect thirst-quenching drink to top off your Labor Day lunch -- Sandra Lee's Melon-tini, courtesy of the Food Network.
To create this simple summer cocktail, gather up the following ingredients:
1 cup ice
2 ounces vodka
2 ounces pineapple juice
1/2-ounce melon liqueur
Frozen melon balls, for garnish
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the vodka and pineapple juice. Shake. Strain into a martini glass. Slowly pour the melon liqueur into the glass. It will sink to the bottom. Garnish with frozen melon balls skewered on stir-sticks and serve immediately.
